He is survived by: his wife Marion Arcand; his children, Steve "Beaver" Opolka (Sharon) of Iron Mountain, Jodi Maycunich (Paul) of Kingsford and Jean Hale (Chris) of Kaukauna, WI; his grandsons, Matthew and Nicholas Opolka; his brother Frank Opolka (Barbara); his brother-in-law Joseph Geldmeyer; his nieces, Cindy Ortiz (Frank) and Susan Brazeau (Bill); and his nephew Scott Geldmeyer (Carrie).
