The passing of Yvonne VanPembrook (Iron Mountain, Michigan) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 19, 2025 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, Laura Hylund and LeRoy Coopman. She is survived by: her husband Donald G. VanPembrook; her sons, Scott and Michael; her in-laws, Camiel and Stephani VanPembrook; her children, Donald A VanPembrook (Denise), Roxanne Hedlund (late Edward), Shelly Neuens (Dean), Mark VanPembrook, Patrick (Tammy) and Timothy VanPembrook (Melissa); her siblings, Karen Broullire, Holly Gagnon, Nancy Stuart, Mary Schultz, Dan and Bill Zoeller; her children, James and Rhonda VanPembrook; her granddaughter Brandy Wright; her son-in-law Edward Hedlund; and her brothers, James Coopman-Zoeller and Calvin Coopman. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Erickson-Rochon and Nash Funeral Home (901 Carpenter Ave, Iron Mountain, MI 49801). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1432 River St, Niagara, WI 54151).
In lieu of flowers, Vonnie has requested donations to be made to the Sacred Heart Church in Aurora "Building Improvement Fund", ℅ St. Anthony Catholic Church at 1432 River St. Niagara, WI 54151.
