Alita D. Evans Obituary

We bid farewell to Alita D. Evans of Iron River, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 19, 2025 at the age of 67. Alita touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Geroge Bushor and Alta Bushor (Shrofe); and her siblings, Roland, Arvid, Wayne, Roderick, Marvin Bushor, Ramona Bushor and Donna Thilmany.

She is survived by: her children, Nikki Wheeler (Donovan) of Iron River, MI, Cody Evans (Shavon Spaulding) of Iron River, MI and Heather Verhagen (Seth) of Iron River, MI; her siblings, Darwin Bushor (Barbara) of Merrill, WI, Ardis Teal of Tomahawk, WI, Roger Bushor (Donna) of North Dakota, Juanita Evans (Ron) of Merrill, WI and Teresa Mortenson (Bill) of Tomahawk, WI; and her siblings-in-law, Val Thilmany of Rhinelander, WI and Sally Bushor of Tomahawk, WI. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, extended family.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Windsor Center (612 W Adams St, Iron River, MI 49935). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
