He was predeceased by: his parents, Reino Hinch and Eila Hinch (Ollikainen); and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his wife Joan Gurchinoff of Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church; his son Brian Hinch (Sarah) of Marquette, MI; his granddaughter Lela Rae; his sister Leanne Couchene of Escanaba, MI; Gloria Byrnes of Marquette. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jacobs Funeral Home (405 W Cayuga St, Iron River, MI 49935). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location.
