With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward John Otto (Iron River, Michigan), born in Stambaugh, Michigan, who passed away on January 17, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ervin Otto and Frances Otto (Kapusta); and his siblings-in-law, Merlyn "Popeye" and Donna Ehlinger. He is survived by : his wife Karen Ehlinger; his mother-in-law Lillian Tschury of Iron River; his daughters, Wendy Shimun (Mark) of Iron River and Jessica Shamion (Todd) of Crystal Falls; his grandchildren, Cassidy Otto-Dove (Logan Bell) of Nashville, TN, Carli Shamion of Green Bay, WI, Riley John Shimun of Iron River, Kaitlin Lehmann (Kurt) of Crystal Falls and Elizabeth Fittante (Travis) of Crystal Falls; his great grandchild Carsyn Lehmann of Crystal Falls; and his brother Dennis Otto of Iron River.
