He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Wester and Elaine Wester (Nyquist); and his wife Kay LaFountain. He is survived by: his children, Jamie Wester (Leslie) of Des Plaines, IL and Carrie Rozich (Frank) of Hinsdale, IL; his grandchildren, Ashton Rozich and Jonas Wester; and his brother Daniel Wester (Kim) of Iron River, MI. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
