He is survived by: his children, Brent Battye of Highland Park, IL, Bryce Battye of Elmhurst, IL and Melissa Mills (Wilson) of Lakeville, MN; his brother Robert Battye (Sandra) of Auburn, AL; his grandchildren, Andrew and Katie Mills; and his nieces and nephews, Jim Battye, Rick Battye (Karen), Lynn Green (Paul) and Christine Ramiriz (John). He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
