He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Porier and Lillian Porier (Wernholm); his brother Bruce Porier; his brother-in-law Ted Johannes; and his grandson Bobby Porier.
He is survived by: his wife Judy McLean; his sons, Jeffrey Porier (Judy) of Iron Mountain and Michael Porier (Faye) of Iron River; his sister Lorraine Johannes of California; his sister-in-law Nancy Porier of Iron River; and his grandchildren, Jeremy Porier (Rachel), Christopher Porier (Mindy), Jennifer Cartwright (Scott), Anne Donohue (Joseph), Kristina Smith (Jed) and Andrew Porier. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren with one on the way; nieces, nephews, extended family.
