She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Brooks and Anna Brooks; and her nephew Joshua Culver. She is survived by: her daughters, Krista Doss (Michael), Andrea Bird (Kyle Alger), Rebecca Nichols (Joel) and Madhuri Thutheja-Verma; her grandchildren, Trenton, Kyle Jr., Bella, Malachai, Joel, Kaylee and Natalie; her siblings, Allen, Edward Brooks, Jan Smith and Ilene Culver-Stout; her former husband Craig Bird; and her friend Darryl Homminga (Red). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
