She was predeceased by: her parents, Teofil Kulesczyk and Bernice Kulesczyk (Orzechowski); her husband August; her children, Diane Smerling and Paul; and her siblings, Tony, Leo, John, Stanley, Peter Koleski, Lotty Rimkus, Rose Mattieu and Frances Jorgensen.
She is survived by: her sons, Rudy Ironwood (Cathy), Frank (Cindy) and Donald (Nicole Corp); and her children-in-law, Ken Smerling and Kathy Grbavcich. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and other loving relatives.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Joseph Family Room at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church (108 S Marquette St, Ironwood, MI 49938). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
