Mathis of Ironwood, Michigan, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on January 21, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, William Duffer and Betty Burnett Thacker; and her siblings, Peggy Miller, Sherry Harre, Linda Carter and Thomas Duffer.
She is survived by : her husband Wayne J. Mathis; her children, Wayne Mathis II, Rhonda Colberg (Mark), Brett Mathis (Sandy) and Sharon Lepinski-Dalbec; her granddaughter Heather Kinsella (Eric); her great grandchildren, Gavin and Payton; her grandchildren, Christina Colberg (Baron), Nathan Colberg, Emily Mathis and Dusty Mathis; and her sisters, Pat Lovin and Terri Shull (Clark). She is also survived by stepchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
