He is survived by: his uncle George Syrjala; his children, Jeremy Laakso (Karen) and Jennifer Laakso; his grandchildren, Ryan Laakso (Olivia), Jacob Laakso (Kelly), Hunter Laakso (Makenzie), Bethany Vilona (Jackson), Kaiden Miller (Gracie), Gavinn Miller and Kinzleigh Pietila; his great grandchild Clark; his siblings, Bruce "Butch" Laakso (Marijane), Barbara Liubakka (Steven), Sherry Murray (Gordon) and Joyce Cote; and his close friend Betty Ann. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
