She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Ahola and Viola Ahola (Orquist); the father of her children Terry A. Holmgren; her close friend Ken Dalgleish; her grandson Tyler Holmgren; and her brother-in-law Cliff Mattson.

She is survived by: her sons, Terry Holmgren (Paula) and Tom Holmgren (Elizabeth); her sister Karen Mattson; her grandchildren, Mark Holmgren (Katie), Hart Holmgren and Blake Holmgren; and her nephews, Tim Mattson and Aaron Mattson.
