He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Mattson and Laura Mattson (Lyyski); his siblings, Bernie, Lennard, Wilfred Mattson (Anne) and Bernice Enderle; and his brother-in-law Bill Wixtrom.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Mattson (Ahola); his sons, Timothy Mattson (Jessica) of Ellington, CT and Aaron Mattson of Lansing; his granddaughters, Clara Mattson (Matthew Togher) and Eve Mattson; his sisters, Aurelia Matheny of Marietta, OH and Luana Wixtrom of Republic; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Holmgren of Ishpeming and Marilyn Mattson of Portage, MI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church in memory of Clifford Mattson.
