He is survived by: his parents, Dennis J. Niemisto and Tiffany R. Lindroos; his wife Olivia (Nurmela); his grandparents, Dan, Rita Niemisto and Marilyn Sanders; his siblings, Deserae Heikkila (Zach), Dana Oswald (Nate), Micheala Niemisto, Devin Niemisto and Matthew Niemisto; his nephew Dean; his niece DeLouise; his aunts and uncles, Dannette Perry (Brad), Tammy Oatley and Tania Jones (Bill); his cousins, Nicholas Taseris, Tyler Jones, Jordan Jones, Craig Perry (Melisaa) and Brandon Perry; his parents-in-law, Dale Kozel and Roberta Nurmela; his sisters-in-law, Heidy and Britney Pelkola; and his grandfather-in-law Mary Seppala (Sierra Rzanca). He is also survived by married on August 30, 2024, children.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tilden Township Hall (3145 Co Rd PG, Ishpeming, MI 49849).
