He was predeceased by: his father Donald C. Harmala; his sister Lola Ayotte; and his nephew Cory Derocha. He is survived by: his mother Jean E. Harmala (Besander); his son Ryan Harmala; his siblings, Bob Harmala (Cindy), Carol Morcom (Sam) and Theresa Josephson (Steve); his brother-in-law Lonnie Ayotte; his niece Heather Salo (Aaron); and his close friend David Beale.
