With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elsie Isotalo (Ishpeming, Michigan), who passed away on October 10, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gust Laakso and Eleanor Laakso (Johnson); her husband Sulo Isotalo; her son Douglas Lee; her grandson Brock Barbiere; her son-in-law Phil Barbiere; her siblings, Laila, Pearl, Arne, Robert and Melvin; and her half-brother Arvo.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Isotalo (Cheryl) of Milwaukee, Susan Marta (Tony) of Marquette, Sally Barbiere (John Marra) of Menasha, WI, Dennis Isotalo (Cheryl) of Ishpeming and Tami Bessner (Todd) of Hancock; her grandchildren, Douglas Isotalo (Angie), Tony Marta (Christy), Bradley Marta (Rachel), Kari Heikkila (Tom), Mark, Angela, Todd Barbiere, Laura Thomas (Brian), Kelly Cittadino (Jason), Nicole Bessner, Chelsea Junttila (Gust) and Travis Bessner (Morgan); and her sister-in-law Gail Laakso. She is also survived by 28 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
