He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Nelson and Lempi Nelson (Harmala); his son Danny Nelson; his great grandchild Jakob Nelson Andriacchi; his brothers, Harold Nelson and Vernon Nelson; his parents-in-law, Dorothy Palmer and Floyd Palmer; and his brother-in-law Douglas Palmer.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Nelson of Ishpeming; his daughter Debbie Clement (Curt) of West Bend, WI; his granddaughters, Angela Andriacchi (Dennis Miller) and Jennifer Andriacchi; his great grandchildren, Mariah, Jadyn, Ava Andriacchi and Camryn Miller; and his niece Carol Palmer.
