He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Anderson and Linnea Anderson; his brother Douglas Anderson; and his stepson Jason Makela. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Anderson; his children, Douglas Anderson (Bobbi Jo), Thomas Anderson (Chelsea), Justina Helsten (David) and Lynn Olson (John); his stepchildren, Kevin Hooper (Patty), Darin Hooper (Jamie), Dawn Rentmeester (Dave) and Tammy Laurila (Mike); his sister Kathleen Chavez; and his nieces, Kris French (John) and Theresa Mashburn (Joe). He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bjork and Zhulkie Funeral Home (400 N 3rd St, Ishpeming, MI 49849). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 3:45 PM at the Ishpeming Elks Lodge 597 (597 Lakeshore Dr, Ishpeming, MI 49849).
