He was predeceased by: his mother Theresa Krook; his stepfather Orvo Krook; his father Arthur Vidlund; his stepmother Carolyn Vidlund; and his siblings, Nancy Vidlund, Steve and Rick Vidlund.
He is survived by: his wife Paulette Vidlund (Beatty); his children, Jenne Beauchaine (Coby), AJ Vidlund (Angie), Stevie Nelson (Adam), Gary Vidlund (Megan), Scott Jette (Nicole) and Jeff Jette (Brandy); his grandchildren, Isaac Beauchaine, Jackson, Luke Vidlund, Liam Bridges, Jared, Gracie Nelson, Wilson, Sophia Liss and Allison Jette; and his brother Jim Vidlund. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in Gary's memory to Cliffs Shaft Mine Museum, UP Pink Power, and/or RAMBA Trails.
