She was predeceased by: her parents, Toivo Lahde and Caroline Lahde (Baldini); her husband Bruce M. Saari; her siblings, Louis and Judy Richer; and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Lahde, Virginia Lahde and H. Marcella Pascoe (Royal).
She is survived by: her daughters, Suzie Saari (Bill Carlson) of Negaunee Township, Toni Saari of Hancock and Vicki Tikkanen of Ishpeming Township; her grandchildren, Teal Niemi (Barette), Alex Rintala (Jamie), Emmi Heikkinen, Harley Heikkinen (Sarah), Heidi Verville (Louie) and Luke Tikkanen (Toni); her siblings, Robert, James Lahde and Barbara Flannery (Gerald); her brother-in-law Thomas Richer; her cousin Jeanne Flannery (James); and her close friends, Lorna and Shirley. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in Gloria's memory to St. Vincent de Paul Society.
