He is survived by: his mother Karen Blewett (Ollila) of Dallas, TX; his wife Christy Blewett (Vial); his children, Taylor, Bryce (Maria), Morgan and Shae; his father James R. Blewett of Ishpeming; his sister Tracy Uranga (Blewett) of Dallas; his grandchildren, Lennon and Leo Blewett; and his close friends, Roger Hendrickson, Robert Delongchamp and Steve Cevigney.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Ishpeming High School Booster Club, Westwood High School Booster Club, Iron Range Hockey Association, or UPAWS in memory of Jay.
