He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert A. Engstrom and Barbara S. Engstrom (Jenkins); his grandson Cody Heikkila; his brother-in-law Paul Oja; and his in-laws, Edward and Edna Mae Oja.
He is survived by: his wife Sandi Engstrom (Oja); his children, Jessie Aho, Josh Aho (Nikki Schneider), Jeremy Aho (Angel Paris), Jenni Aho (Tommy McLoughlin), Dominicque, Bailey (Madison) and Nolan; his siblings, Rick Engstrom (Sharon) of Alpena and Bee Engstrom (Ricky Duhame); his siblings-in-law, Susan Oja (Jeff Key) of Madison, WI and Dan Oja of Savannah, GA; his grandchildren, Cassidy, Savanna, Xander, Calienna, Addaleighna and Tommy; and his great grandchild Colton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bjork and Zhulkie Funeral Home (400 N 3rd St, Ishpeming, MI 49849). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
