With solemn reverence, we commemorate Robert M. Maki of Ishpeming, Michigan, born in Negaunee, Michigan, whose life came to an end on October 11, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Maki and Siri Maki; his wife Harriet Maki (Swanson); and his siblings, Walfred, Arnold, Ray, Paul Maki, Dorothy Gula, Ruth Ellis and Silvia Tobert.
He is survived by: his son Chris Maki (Laura) of Holly; his grandchildren, Grant and Candice; his son Brett Maki (Gina) of Cary, IL; his grandchildren, Trevor, Sarah and Corey; his son Todd Maki (Lisa) of Gladstone; his grandchildren, Bryant, Morgan and Keira; his son Robb Maki (Jeanniene) of Corinth, TX; and his sister-in-law Joyce Swanson of Kentwood. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bethany Lutheran Church (715 Mather Ave, Ishpeming, MI 49849). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
