With sadness, we share the passing of Viola E. Williams (Ishpeming, Michigan). Viola, born on August 2, 1925, passed away on September 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Gordon Williams; her parents, Hattie Pennala and Elias Pennala; and her siblings, Eleanor Bennett (Pennala), Martha Ulrickson (Pennala) and Norman Pennala.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Anderson (Gerry) of Tucson, AZ, Scott Williams (Mary) of South Fork, CO, Vicki Williams of Albuquerque, NM and Lisa MacDonald (Jim); her grandson Luke Anderson of Tucson, AZ; her sister-in-law Barbara Pennala (Gauthier); her great grandchildren, Connor Anderson and Christiana Anderson; her stepgrandchildren, Brandon Howard (Casey) of Evergreen, CO and Erin Howard of Denver, CO; and her stepgreat-granddaughter Hazel Howard.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hope Free Lutheran Church (795 S North Lake Dr, Ishpeming, MI 49849). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
