He was predeceased by: his parents, Stuart Crooks and Muriel Crooks (Smith) of Ithaca; and his sister Elladyne MacNabb (Crooks). He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara VanAtten (Crooks) of Ithaca, MI, Mark Crooks (Linda) of Warsaw, IN and Steve Crooks of Florida.
In 2020, during covid, he started having his friends come to his "man cave bar".
