He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Swanson and Ruth Brown Swanson; his parents-in-law, George and Beth Tait; and his brother-in-law Dale Tait.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Tait; his daughters, Sara Morrison (Jon), Amy Underwood (Chip) and Anna Swanson; and his grandchildren, Ian Underwood, Ella Underwood, Mallory Morrison and Callie Morrison.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Ithaca Cemetery (200 Spring St, Ithaca, MI 48847).
