It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Marie Patterson (Ithaca, Michigan), born in Sheridan, Michigan, who passed away on August 12, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, D. L. Hodges and Sylvia Hodges; her former life partner Francis Patterson; her siblings, LaVonna Patterson, Larry Hodges, Donald Hodges and Donna Peterman; and her sons, Frankie Patterson and Lyle Patterson.

She is survived by : her children, Alda (Bruce Schwan), Debbie Whittaker, LaVern Patterson and Dawn (Paul Welsh); her grandchildren, Angela, Matt, Aaron, Brandy, George, Michelle, Tiffanie, William, Abby, Katie, Nicole, Jason, Ryan, Thomas, Carolyn and Sylvia; and her sister Katherine (Norman Dow).
