It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luann Marie Nielsen of Ithaca, Michigan, born in Sheridan, Michigan, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her brother-in-law Robert Slachter. She is survived by : her mother Joanne Marilyn Nielsen (Smith); her son Jeffrey Nielsen (Casey); her father Lewis Nielsen; and her siblings, David Nielsen and Pamela Slachter.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Homes (1333 E Center St, Ithaca, MI 48847). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
