It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mellissa Jean Johnson Garcia of Ithaca, Michigan, born in Carson City, Michigan, who passed away on May 30, 2023, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her mother Denise Annamae Johnson (Fourtney) of Ithaca; her former life partner Manuel Delgado Rodriguez; and her sister Heather Lynn Johnson. She is survived by : her husband Miguel Garcia Hernandez of Ithaca; her father Scott Douglas Johnson of Ithaca; her children, Jorge Lorenzo-Delgado Rodriguez of Battle Creek, Alejandro Manuel Rodriguez of Conway, Araceli Annamae Johnson-Gutierrez of Ithaca and Giovanni Miguel Garcia of Ithaca; her grandchildren, Christian Eric Alexzander McConnell, Aidan Manuel Delgado, Alizé Annamae Delgado and Malakai Douglas-Lorenzo Delgado; and her siblings, Steven Douglas Johnson of Ithaca and Brendon Earl Johnson of Ithaca.
