She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph A. Flashaar and Katie Putnam Flashaar (Howd); her siblings, Verna Carrick (Roy), Rupert Flashaar (Glendola "Glen"), Charles Flashaar (Inez), Stanley "Dar" Flashaar (Louella "Lou") and Richard Flashaar (Margaret); and her stepchildren, Kay Sinclair, Kathy Freed and Roger Freed.
She is survived by: her husband Wayne Freed; her children, Jodi Studt (Bob) of Ashley, MI, Paul Howard (Katherine) of Houston, TX and Sherri Beck (Terry) of Ashley, MI; and her stepchildren, Ron Freed of Boyne City, MI and Sheri Freed-McNeil (Jim) of Columbus, GA.. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ashley United Methodist Church (112 N New St, Ashley, MI 48806).
