She was predeceased by : her parents, Orley Walls and Ruby "Jessie" Simmers (Herzog) of Six Lakes, Michigan.; her stepfather Edwin "Ed" Simmers; and her siblings, Robert "Bob" Walls and Irene Sears (Watkins).

She is survived by : her spouse Thomas A. Watkins of Mason; her children, Thomas L. Watkins (Kristy) of Beaverton, Roger A. Watkins of Ithaca and Karen A. Crocker (Kelvin) of Ithaca, Michigan; her grandchildren, Marcus, Douglas, Edwin, Debra and Russell; her great grandchildren, Joshua and Tyler; her siblings, Ruby Behnke of Midland, Marie Johnson of Six Lakes, Michigan and Jerry Walls (Kathy) of Lakeview, Michigan; her sister-in-law Mary Walls of Six Lakes, Michigan; and her close friend Judy Gushen. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.

Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the St. Louis VFW Women's Auxiliary or the Gratiot County Commission on Aging in Ithaca, Michigan.
