He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley John and Mary Ruth Simmons (Godfrey). He is survived by: his wife Patti; his children, Karen Petzold (Scott) of Hudsonville, MI, Stanley D. Simmons (Michelle White) of Breckenridge, MI and Matthew Simmons of Roanoke, VA; and his grandchildren, Drew Petzold (Shannon), Lucas Petzold (Molly), Josh Petzold and Ruby Simmons.
