With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Verla Elizabeth Shaw of Ithaca, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Verla Elizabeth left this world on August 2, 2025 at the age of 98, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Naffziger and Flora Naffziger (Brown); her husband Wilbur A Shaw; and her sisters, Mildred Clagg, Thelma Wasson, Edith Naffziger and Erma Billingsley.
She is survived by: her children, Rodney "Bill" Shaw (Hilda) and Connie "Susie" Kern (Jack) of Ithaca, Michigan; and her grandsons, Anthony Shaw of Byron Center, MI, Jeremy Kern of Haverhill, Florida and Eric Kern of Wesley Chapel, FL.. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Verla's memory to Ithaca Church of God or Tidewell Hospice of Bradenton, Florida.
