He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bertus H. Stemen (Eva Stemen) and Eva Stemen (Snyder); his sister Roxie Gramlich; his children, Cathy Brey of Kentucky, Sheryl Jones of Hillsdale, MI, Michele Hines (Chele) of Nevada, Michael Stemen of California and Mark Stemen of Jonesville, Michigan.; his brother Luther Stemen; and his granddaughter Shannon Stemen. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren, several cousins, and friends.
