She was predeceased by: her parents, John Graham Gillespie and Alice Gillespie (Rogers); her daughter Yvonne Marie; her brother John Gillespie; her husband Jerry; and her sons, Michael Dean and William Rogers.

She is survived by: her son Max Gerald Hamilton (Mary); her daughters-in-law, Nancy Hamilton (William) and Joanne Hamilton (Michael); her grandchildren, Christa Marie Hamilton, Elizabeth Chloe O'Connor (Sean), Ian Robert Hamilton, Molly Rae Hamilton, Michael Gerald Hamilton and Max William Hamilton; her great grandchildren, Emerson Clack Hamilton, Conor Hamilton and Thomas J. O'Connor; her friend Gayla; and her close friend Sharon.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to go to either Hospice or the Jackson District Library.
