With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn M. Mattice of Jackson, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 23, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Baker and Ella Mae Baker (Grant); her former husband Marion Lyle Heath (Red); her husband James Mattice; her stepson Robert Mattice; and her sisters, Jackie Weese and Susan Mattice Daniels.
She is survived by: her sister Sally Cartmell of Martin Tennessee; her children, Cindy Alling (Robert) of Eaton Rapids and Jeffery L Heath (Christine M.) of Hanover; her grandchildren, Heather Schlichter (Dustin) of Eaton Rapids, Jovi Altadonna, Taylor Heath (Rachel) of Hanover, Trevor Heath of Hanover and Aaron Heath of Wichita Kansas; her great grandchildren, Preston Schlichter, Blake Schlichter, Samuel Heath and Isabelle Heath; her children, Greg, Gary, Mckenna, Padraic, Stephen, Jessi, Jake, Casey and Mitch; her sister Janice Rutan; and her close friends, Mary Lou Thorne, Karen Stuart, Carolyn Brandt and Bonnie Stuart. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
