He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Maitland and Frances Maitland (Pratt); his wife Martha; his siblings, Orville, Gerald, Jack and Donna Lauraine; and his son-in-law Louis Stein.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Stein, Thomas Maitland (Jayne), Cathy Early, Joanne Leeke (Dan) and Dennis Maitland (Korinne); and his brother Kenneth Maitland (Nancy). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.
