He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Townsend and Hazel Townsend (Wilcox); his siblings, Leland, Sue Ann and JoAnn; and his granddaughter Tara Townsend.
He is survived by: his wife Aloha Townsend (Chipman); his sons, Troy (Jennifer) and Eric (Rachel); his grandchildren, Keagan and Alanna; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Townsend.
