He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Abner, and Gladys Abner, Sr. (Duemer); and his sister Cathy Smothers. He is survived by: his wife Susan Abner (Phelps); his children, Jeff Abner (Cherri) and Jodi Kope (Paul, Sr.); his grandchildren, Kylie, Morgan (Josh), Alexis, Meredith and Paul Jr. (Hillari); his great grandchild Brock; his sister Nancy Abner; and his brother-in-law Ken Smothers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
