He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Smith and Mary Smith (Bristow); his wife Gail Smith; his daughter Danyell Smith; and his siblings, Jack Smith, Don Smith, Bob Smith, Larry Smith and Jerry Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Chad Smith (Sheila) and Shadow Smith; his grandchildren, Hannah Lawley (Jonathan) and Dustin Smith; his sister Patty Winningham; his goddaughter Kim Weir; and his close friends, Mark and Barb Becker. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
