He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Freeman and Billye Freeman; his son Garold Phillips; and his sister Glenna Watters. He is survived by: his wife Charlett Freeman; his children, Craig Freeman (Kim) of Westphalia, Dannette Mangual (Rosendo) of Jackson, Michigan., Lisa Fletcher of Jackson, Michigan., Brett Freeman of Jackson, Michigan. and Aimee Garrett (Dametreous) of Jackson, Michigan.; his sister Tanya Freeman of Oxford; and his great grandchild Ruby June Fletcher. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
