He was predeceased by: his parents, David Adams and Norma Whigham (Lindsey); his brothers, Clarence Hill, Jr. and Robert Adams; and his uncle Paul Whigham.

He is survived by: his wife Judwonder Adams (Walls); his son Michael Adams; his stepchildren, Michael Walls, Jamel Walls, Lorie and LaTonya Walls; his grandchildren, Roneka, Shaneka and Brianna; his stepgrandchildren, Mikala Walls, Sha'keema McKinney, Michael Walls, Jr., McKinney and Kemon Walls; and his siblings, Constance Perry, Charlotte Adams and Reginald Whigham. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
