He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Gier and Marie Gier; his in-laws, Lawrence and Helen Kefuss; his brothers, Everett Gier (Barbara) and Roger Gier; and his granddaughter Bailey Gier.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Gier (Kefuss); his children, David, Jr. Gier (Marla), Melissa Loring (Bruce), Jeff Gier (Dawn) and Brother Robert Gier (Ann); and his friend Dick Kelsow. He is also survived by 5 grand children, 7 great grand children; many nieces nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers contributions to Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice would be appreciated.
