He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon McFate and Elenor McFate (Keeler); his brother Randy McFate; his parents-in-law, Chester and Phyliss Miller; and his siblings-in-law, Edna "Annie", Tony Miller and Scott Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Joyce; his children, Daniel McFate (Diane), Matthew McFate, Rebekah Elston (Becky) and Heidi Tessler (Alec); his grandchildren, Meg, Noah, Mia, Dane, Lincoln, Cole, Dana, Jeni, Beth, Abby and John; and his pet Molly.
Friends who wish may make memorial contributions to the First Baptist Church in North Adams or to Family Life Radio.
