He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Wetzel and Wilma Wetzel (Gaukroger); his wife Diane Way; and his siblings, Phillip Wetzel, Barbara Glick and Diane Fiener.
He is survived by: his children, Selys Perry (Steve) and Cynthia Wetzel (Terry Feichtenbiner); his stepchildren, Mark Wolf (Doreen), Lisa Watson (Matthew) and Laurie Eggerstedt (Rye); and his grandchildren, Tara Myers, Greg Perry, Sean, Sam Feichtenbiner, Bobby Ewing II, Jillee Horn, Ryan, Nick, Philip, Amy Wolf, Matthew Ratliff, Jenna Watson and Josh Watson. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
