With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Lee Martin of Jackson, Michigan, born in Kirksville, Missouri, who passed away on April 11, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sondra (Soni); his brother Ronald (Kathy) of Knoxville, IA; his children, Shelly (Rick), Melissa (Greg), Mindy (Jim), Meredith (Greg), Roy (Becca), Karie (Steve) and Sara (Dave); his grandchildren, Meredith, Nathan, Garrett, Nico, Travis, Tyler, Mackenna, Nolan, Audrey, Sea, Liz, Easton, Ryan, Luke, Maclaine, Henry, Charlotte and Brennin Sue; and his parents, Roy Martin and Dottie Martin.
In lieu of flowers, Don requested donations be made to the Lymphoma Research Foundation (http://www.lymphoma.org) to help further research for Lymphoma cures in his memory, others who have lost their lives to Lymphoma, and in honor of his surviving daughter, Melinda and others living with the disease.
