He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Chris Peterson and Muriel Peterson (Hall); his wife Marilee June Peterson (Whiting); and his siblings, Leroy Peterson, Roger Peterson, Margaret Childers (Peterson) and Erma Collins (Peterson).
He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Marie Lotter (Peterson), Kristine Lee (Robert Ragain) and Ruth Emily (Darrell Payne); and his close friend Gilbert Schleweis. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his honor to Vandercook Baptist Church Mission Fund.
