She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard O'Dell and Wanda Ellen Arnold Wormley; her husband David Bortel; her stepson John David; and her sisters, Ruth L. Roach and Betty Zane Armstrong.
She is survived by: her stepsons, Michael of Apple Valley and Larry (Susan) of Gray, Tennessee; and her sister Joy Reighard of Las Vegas, Nevada.. She is also survived by grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren.
