He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruben Avery and Shirley Avery (Peppeard); and his brother Dale Avery. He is survived by: his daughters, Carrie McDonald of Jackson, Jennifer Powell (Gene) of Toledo and Lisa Bailey of Jackson; his siblings, Doris Typpi, Denise Sunkel, Darlene Avery, Dorothy Preston (Doug) and Donald Avery (Wanda); and his children, Bobbie Jo, Jamie and Jessica. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
